Currently the S&P; futures are at 1238.50, 5.5 points above fair value while Nasdaq 100 futures are at 1770.50, 26.50 points above fair value. The market is taking back some of the late losses seen last Friday which were attributable to the increased alert in the Gulf. Overall, however, the focus for the week remains on the Fed and the prospects for a 25 bp or a 50 bp rate cut.
