How much money daytraders can make
Successful trades are able to make
at least 1% profit a day on average. Example: If you have an account
with $50,000 cash, you should be able to make $500 per day on average.
However, more successful traders can make $1,000-2,000 a day. Trading
is a matter of experience. The more experienced you are the more
money you should be able to make.
The difficulty is to make this money
constantly. Some very
active traders are up $10,000 one day but down -$8,000 the other
day. Some traders do dozens of trades a day, others focus on a few
ones. In our live trading chat room we try to focus on a fewer but
higher percentage trades per day. These trades give us the money
we want with less volatility for our account. We especially want
newer or less experienced traders to focus on very high percentage
trades only until they are experienced enough to make more trades.
Some patterns or situations are easier
to trade than others. Its the aim of the Alert-Trading chat room
to give our members the one or two high percentage trade(s) they
need to make the $300-$500 per day at the lowest risk possible and
with the lowest volatility for the account as possible thats
high percentage trading. However, experienced traders will make
much more trades, especially when they use the Alert-Machine, our
channel for real-time alerts of interesting stocks.
Your success depends on numerous details.
The more experienced you become, the more trades you are able to
do per day. The more trades you can do, the more chances you have
to make or lose money. Consider, with 1,000 shares you can make
a $500 profit with a single round-trip. You only need a ½ point
move in the stock price. That example shows the power and the danger
of daytrading. A 1/2 point profit usually is not a big move for
a stock. True is that the average profit for a daytrader is within
a range of ¼-1 point per single trade. Yes, you can make really
big money with daytrading, but you must know exactly what you are
doing. Alert-Trading helps you on your way.
